Improving Safety at High-Risk Intersections

After hearing concerns about vehicles parking too close to intersections—creating dangerous visibility issues for drivers—Councillor Richard Ash met with Director Grennon and the team at Quincy TPAL to address the problem. Thanks to their swift response, new “No Parking Here to Corner” signs were installed at several key locations: Commonwealth Ave/Southern Artery, Ellerton/Sumner Streets, and Madison/Kendrick Aves. Additionally, a fourth stop sign was added at the Grafton/Lancaster intersection to further improve traffic safety. Richard extends his thanks to TPAL for their commitment to keeping Quincy’s roads safe and navigable for all.
